Gasoline Price Comparison

In America, fuel is around $3.00 per gallon (about $0.80 per liter, or 92 yen per liter). NBC News tonight compared how much we pay in America to other countries. It was pretty interesting. They are paying $6.56 per gallon in England (about $1.75, or 201 yen, per liter). And $6.92 per gallon in Hong Kong. I guess we can't complain.

But there is still a place where gasoline costs less than water. In Kuwait, gasoline is $0.82 per gallon (about 25 yen per liter). That is cheap!

For those in other countries, how much do you pay for gasoline?

I think it is about AU$1.20 per litter. Premium costs a bit more.

Venezuela takes the record - fixed at $0.25 per gallon. It causes them lots of traffic problems.

I wasn't aware of the traffic problems, but it wouldn't surprise me.
