The Doppler radar shows more rain coming towards us. This has already been a wet winter, with us recieving 140% of what we normally receive in a rainy season, and more rain coming. I am definitely looking forward to the end of the rainy season...

Hi! I just passed by this blog.
"Tsuyu" means a specific rainy season in Japan, so you might simply use "Uki" for the translation of "rainy season".

I'm also a cyclist in the Bay Area, so I'm also looking forward to the end of the rainy seaon. The luburication of my bike is almost washed off by the rain.
However, the rainy season in this area is also the green season. I don't like to bike in the rain, but I do on green hills.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. And for the correction. For every post, I look up many words with a dictionary, but unfortunately dictionaries don't always provide full descriptions/translations of the words.
