I bought a kayak this past weekend. It is a used boat, and I got it for a good price. I am looking forward to taking it out on the water.
先週末中古カヤックを買った。安かった。 カヤック乗るのは楽しみにしている。

Actually, this is an ocean kayak. So it is made to work on open water, like a lake or the ocean. River kayaks are much shorter and are made to handle rough rivers.
I took the boat out yesterday evening into an inlet to the San Francisco Bay near my house. This was my first time in the boat, and it worked well for me.
I drive a Subaru station wagon (similar to the Legacy Lancaster model in Japan) and have a roof rack on it. The boat can mount onto the roof rack.
