Le Tour
To cyclists, July means one thing - it's time for the The Tour de France. It is shown on the Outdoor Life Channel here in the States, but I do not have cable, so can not see it. But I have been reading http://www.tdfblog.com/, which has kept me up to date on what is happening.
This year's Tour started with a bang, with many of the top riders disqualified just before the race started. Definitely will make it an interesting year.
今年のツールはとても面白いよ。発走の直前に二人の最高の競争相手は欠格した。

Unfortunate that you aren't able to catch the TdF daily. OLN used to have streams of the event. I don't know why they dropped it, other than costs.
Hopefully, you'll be able to see the highlights on weekends, or over at a friend's place!
I find t almost unbelievable that an American won it this year. The Europeans have traditionally been the strong riders, so it was a nice surprise to see an American come out front. Congrads to Floyd Landis.
Jay Leno had an interesting joke last night about this. It went something along the lines of:
First Lance Armstrong wins the Tour 7 years in the row, and he is a caner survivor. Now Floyd Landis wins, and he has arthritis of the hip which will require hip replacement surgery. If they can't even beat these two, do the French even know how to ride a bike any more?
