1. Integrity
2. Refugee
3. Contempt
4. Filibuster
5. Insipid
6. Tsunami
7. Pandemic
8. Conclave

If you don't, that shouldn't be a surprise. These are the words which were most looked up on the on-line version of the Merriam-Webster's dictionary.
分からなければ、いいだよ。Merriam-Websterのインターネットの字書で英語の一番捜す言葉だ。

It is interesting to see what words are most looked up. They almost all relate to current events from the last year (Tsunami in Asia, new Pope, American politics, etc.).
何のよく捜す言葉は面白いだ。全部時事問題の言葉だ。東南アジアの津波や新しい教王やアメリカ政治だ。

Hi Peter-san,
Some of them are quite unusual indeed. I recently searched for manageress because I found it in a J>E translation and didn't believe it existed.
That aside, a funny one: write the word "failure" in Google and see what sites you get listed.
ではまたね!

The "failure" in Google wasn't the first, but instead was done in response to when people set up "miserable failure" so that it came up with a humurous result.
